Tips for Spring

Spring is the time that all your plants and garden comes back to life

Weeds – remove weeds from your garden beds and the lawn. This will encourage healthier and stronger growth after the winter period

Pruning – work through your garden and prune plants as required

Mulch – now’s the time to turn over and cultivate your garden beds. It’s a good idea to add a new layer of organic mulch or equivalent

Pests – you need to protect your plants by using an all purpose systemic fungicide spray to protect from pests.

Lawn – feed to encourage new growth

Fertilise – now’s the time to fertilise your garden beds

Prune fruit trees in early spring before new fruit develops to encourage healthy growth and make it easier to harvest produce. Pruning trees will also help minimize pests and diseases.
