Tips for Spring
Spring is the time that all your plants and garden comes back to life
Weeds – remove weeds from your garden beds and the lawn. This will encourage healthier and stronger growth after the winter period
Pruning – work through your garden and prune plants as required
Mulch – now’s the time to turn over and cultivate your garden beds. It’s a good idea to add a new layer of organic mulch or equivalent
Pests – you need to protect your plants by using an all purpose systemic fungicide spray to protect from pests.
Lawn – feed to encourage new growth
Fertilise – now’s the time to fertilise your garden beds
Prune fruit trees in early spring before new fruit develops to encourage healthy growth and make it easier to harvest produce. Pruning trees will also help minimize pests and diseases.
